Second Screen · Story Sync
Really excited to see AMC addressing the second screen movement. A few thoughts:
- Is AMC trying to compete with Twitter for viewer attention?
- AMC has already achieved its goal: convincing the viewer to watch the show. Why is this even necessary? Playing devil’s advocate for a minute.
- One can tweet this page, or tweet any piece of the feed. Is this overkill?
- HOW CAN THEY NOT OFFER A MOBILE VERSION? Shocked. Perhaps AMC assumes people are sitting on their couches with their laptops open. More likely? Not enough resources to build a responsive solution.
I tried to use Story Sync for a few minutes, but I grew frustrated trying to accomplish both viewing and interacting. Maybe I’m too old.
